Static-X Release Official Music Video for Brand New Song ‘All These Years’ Featuring Vocals by Wayne Static

May 15, 2020 – Platinum selling International recording artists STATIC-X  released the official music video for “All These Years,” the second single off of their upcoming album, Project Regeneration Vol. 1. The song features lead vocals by the legendary late front-man WAYNE STATIC. Directed by Xer0 and co-directed by MATT ZANE, the clip is a campy narrative set in the bedroom of a young WAYNE STATIC back in the 1970’s, who comes face to face with his future rock star self through his black and white television.

The band says that the idea was inspired by the song lyrics for “All These Years:”

“It’s very challenging to represent someone in a music video, who is no longer alive, but that was something that we really wanted to do and I think it came out great” says drummer KEN JAY. “These are some of Wayne’s last works, so we really wanted to make this video all about him and to continue to celebrate his life and legacy. What better way to do that than through a fun, fictional story about how Wayne was inspired to become the legend that who he became through STATIC-X.”

The band’s 7th studio album, Project Regeneration, was scheduled to be released on May 29th but has been slightly delayed due manufacturing shut downs from the Corona virus. The album will be available across all streaming platforms and physical CD on July 10 and vinyl on August 14, 2020.

“The album is 100% complete,” says TONY CAMPOS. “We are just waiting for the manufacturing to resume. We have been given word that all is finally in production, so we are excited to get this out to the fans.”

Fans can continue to pre-order / save Project Regeneration online at https://lnk.to/projectregeneration.

Wolf Acid Ritual Release Debut Single The Hidden Secrets

Wolf Acid Ritual
A project/collection of ideas, born out of boredom and frustration and a love of all things Sludgy, Stoner, Doom & Metal.

The essence of these ideas can be found loitering somewhere around the Kilkenny area on the Emerald Isle. It was here that Wolf Acid Ritual was born at the end of 2019 into 2020

The elements of Drums, Bass, Guitar & Vocals came together, a combined  channeling, a creative outlet under the vision and guidance of 1

Wolf Acid Ritual walks a path not unlike one spoken of by a Young Gun known as Dirty Steve his words and I quote  “We’re in the Spirit World Asshole, they can’t even see us”

… So open your eyes, take a look around, scratch the surface and question everything.

Wolf Acid Ritual writes, designs, records and mixes all W.A.R content

Debut EP “Beyond The Red Sky” to be released later this year. For now you can stream the first single ‘The Hidden Secrets’ on almost all good streaming platforms.

Noosed Release EP Butcher

Noosed Release EP Butcher

Galway based Noosed have released their new mini-album Butcher.

‘Noosed create an aggressive blend of Noise/Grind/Crust/Sludge which is a direct response to the state of the world they live in. They believe humanity is staring through the hangman’s noose and try to reflect this sentiment in their music.’

This album is excellent! Full on filthy/horrible Grind/Crust/Sludge with a very raw feel. No polish job here. Pure undiluted filth! In the best possible way of course.

There’s many samples to include the hanging scene from the Omen. “Look at me Damien. It’s all for you!”
Which adds another dimension to their sound and makes the album better as a result.

This project showed a lot of potential at demo phase and has firmly delivered!

Video Premiere: Lugosi – The Owls

Video Premiere: Lugosi – The Owls

Lugosi
“The Owls Are Not What They Seem” Video Debut
(Taken from the album, “Rise from the Grave”)

“The Owls Are Not What They Seem” is a song inspired by a quote from David Lynch and Mark Frost’s cult American TV series “Twin Peaks”. The seminal show follows the surreal and often disconnected investigation of the murder of a young girl in a small town and was a sensation when it first aired in 1990. Taking the dream-like tone of this series and expanding its initial field of vision, the song explores a dystopian future marked by uncertainty and fear, and the relationship between current actions and their possible consequences. The chorus name-checks the infamous Bohemian Grove, a campground where famously the Manhattan Project was planned, resulting in the atomic bomb which changed the world forever.

The video extends this metaphor into exploring the mythology of this location and the ceremonies carried out within it. Owned by the male-only Bohemian Club of San Francisco, California, whose membership is populated by high-ranking individuals from business, politics, education and the arts, the Grove has operated as a summer camp for the rich and powerful of American society since the early part of the 20th century. It’s mascot, and the background statue to the summer season’s opening ceremony “The Cremation of Care”, is an owl.

The video further extends the exploration of the ceremony and draws upon other symbolic practices carried out by other male-only closed and secretive orders and postulates the consequences of these actions. Musically, the song has a driving rhythm accentuated by a pumping and pulsating bass and guitar riff, which carries the listener through each verse and into the choruses, finally bringing the song into a culminating solo and a strong finish.

Dublin based Lugosi formed in 2016 consisting of JM Burr and Jimmy Rooney (of the band the Reverend JM’s panic worship), film maker and former Hungry Souls guitarist Alan Morton, and Neal Wright, formerly of Belfast’s Memento Mori. With influences ranging from the Misfits, Black Sabbath, Fu Manchu and Clutch and a love of the macabre, Lugosi’s songs range in subject matter from alien vampires, American Indian legends, horror, and witchcraft. A veritable sonic Ed Wood movie delivered through rock and roll.

Exclusive Premiere: Aborted Earth – MAGA (Make Ariana Grind Again)

We are proud to bring you the exclusive premiere of Aborted Earth’s new video MAGA (Make Ariana Grind Again) ahead of the release of their album Man-Made Mechanical Misery which is released on May 30th via Sudden Strike Records.

This band have always been very experimental and this release is no different. It’s a lot more industrial in its theme this time. Fitting of its title Man-Made Mechanical Misery.
There’s also a cover on this album. It’s excellent and one of my personal favorites from that particular band.

Frontman Jamie told us:
This release is possibly our most experimental, we have more emphasis on electronics and longer songs.
May 30th it will released via Bandcamp and CDs will be available at a later date.
This will be the last big release before we release album Number two. Which is in the demo stages now.
